I tested a cheap phone tripod from Wish. Two weeks shipping – but it arrived missing the phone holder. Here’s my honest review.

First Impressions
I ordered this phone tripod from Wish with one goal in mind: to use it as a stable setup for filming product reviews and taking photos.
The listing looked decent. The price was low. And with a 4.2-star rating from over 1,000 buyers, it seemed like a relatively safe bet.
Shipping took about two weeks — which is standard for Wish.
But when the package finally arrived… something was missing.
Literally.

What Was Included (And What Wasn’t)
Inside the box, I found:
• The tripod legs
• Adjustable height section
• Standard mounting screw
What I did not receive:
• The phone holder attachment
And that’s a problem.
Without the phone holder, this tripod can’t actually be used as intended for a smartphone — which defeats the whole purpose.
Build Quality
The tripod itself feels lightweight and mostly plastic — which is expected at this price point.
It doesn’t feel terrible, but it definitely doesn’t feel premium either.
For light use, it might be fine — assuming you receive all the parts.
If you already own a separate phone mount, you could probably make it work. But as a complete, ready-to-use solution straight out of the box, my experience was disappointing.
Seller Rating & Context
To be fair, the seller holds a 4.2 rating from 1,087 reviews.
That suggests many buyers were satisfied, so this could very well have been a one-off packing mistake.
Still, waiting two weeks only to receive an incomplete product isn’t ideal — especially when the missing piece is the most important one.
Is This Wish Tripod Worth It?
If it arrives complete, it might be acceptable for the price.
But based on my experience, I would personally spend a little more and buy from a more reliable retailer.
Final Verdict
Not worth the hassle.
I’d choose a different tripod.
